Ultimate Windows sponsored Billingham Stars

ULTIMATE WINDOWS-sponsored Billingham Stars tonight welcome back one of the most popular members of the dressing room as defenceman Andy Finn returns for another season.

28-year-old Finn will be making it nine out of nine as he joins an elite group of ‘original Stars’ adding much-needed experience to a young squad. Although he started his junior career on Teesside, Finn played his hockey away from the area in Sheffield and Swindon before returning to the North East to hook up with the Northern Stars the season before the Forum reopened. A Billingham Star ever since, Finn always plays the game in the best spirit and will be invaluable in the development of his fellow blue liners.

A popular name that the fans will undoubtedly be glad to see on the roster, Finn shared a few thoughts on his return:

"I'm looking forward to the season starting. It should be great having Fozzy back, and with the top three teams from last season back in a national League, it should be like the good old days! The team looks like it’s coming together well. We have a good import signed so far and lots of keen young lads. So we should good contenders this year."

It’s great to see you back Finny!

The Stars still have a few player announcements left, as well as news about our Juniors.
